As Stellar Blade gears up for its PC debut, a passionate community of fans is already digging deep. Revealing files uncovered by modders

It all started with a post from Stellar Blade Brasil, featuring a striking video by modder @phantomSomnus. In it, a modified scene shows a second version of Eve, the main character, being summoned. And then—surprise: the screen instantly splits in two, as if the game were ready to support local co-op play.

This isn’t just a cosmetic trick. Files labeled “MultiPlay” were also shared by the modder—compelling evidence that Stellar Blade may have been developed with multiplayer functionality in mind from the start. Although nothing has been officially confirmed by Shift Up, the theory of a hidden—or perhaps last-minute-scrapped—co-op mode is gaining traction.

A precisely timed rollout

This leak comes just days before a key moment: the PC launch of Stellar Blade, scheduled for June 12. It’s a perfect opportunity to reignite both media and community attention around the game. And Shift Up isn’t stopping there.

On the same day as the PC release, a brand-new DLC will drop to expand the experience. Simply titled Stellar Blade – NIKKE DLC, this add-on introduces a spectacular collaboration with Goddess of Victory: Nikke. Highlights include:

A bright future for Stellar Blade

The Stellar Blade PC demo is a hit, the DLC is generating buzz, and now, a potential hidden multiplayer mode is thrilling fans online. Everything is in place for Stellar Blade to become a major franchise. The only question is whether Shift Up will ever confirm these hidden features… or if they’ll remain a tantalizing dream for curious modders.
