In a recent financial report, Korean studio Shift Up lifted the curtain on its ambitions: a sequel to Stellar Blade is officially in development. Back in May, the developers had already hinted at this possibility, but this time it’s the real deal! According to statements translated by Genki_JPN, the studio isn’t hiding its intentions:

It crossed the one-million sales milestone at lightning speed—19 times faster than the initial PlayStation 5 launch. Bigger ambitions than ever
Shift Up isn’t planning to rest on its laurels. According to official statements, Stellar Blade 2 will retain the action-focused DNA of the original while significantly expanding the game’s universe.
