It’s official: Shift Up is working on Stellar Blade 2

In a recent financial report, Korean studio Shift Up lifted the curtain on its ambitions: a sequel to Stellar Blade is officially in development. Back in May, the developers had already hinted at this possibility, but this time it’s the real deal! According to statements translated by Genki_JPN, the studio isn’t hiding its intentions:

An approach that clearly shows the studio’s confidence in its creation. And with good reason: the success of Stellar Blade on PC exceeded all expectations. This strategy is meant to cement Stellar Blade as a major franchise, with the clear ambition of surpassing the already impressive success of the first installment.

An ambitious release schedule

Fans won’t have to wait forever: Shift Up is targeting a 2026 release for this highly anticipated sequel, whereas earlier communications suggested 2027. Either way, the wait won’t drag on—the wheels are already in motion.
