Square Enix didn’t just give the game a visual makeover. With The Ivalice Chronicles, the studio offers two distinct experiences:
- The Enhanced version, designed for modern players, features fully voiced dialogue, modernized visuals, and a streamlined user interface. It also introduces a new difficulty setting, “Squire” mode, perfect for easing newcomers into the genre without overwhelming them.
- The Classic version caters to purists: a faithful remaster of the 1997 original, enhanced with The War of the Lions’ refined translation, along with high-resolution support, widescreen format, and auto-save functionality.
