Solo Leveling: The New Multiplayer Game Gets a Playable Demo Next Week

Goodbye mobile gacha — it’s time for true multiplayer on PC and consoles.
Published 6 October, 2025

Next week, Netmarble will finally unveil Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive to the public at TwitchCon San Diego 2025. With a playable demo, exclusive content, and live streams hosted by special guests, the Korean publisher is gearing up to give fans an explosive first look at its next major title.

While season 3 of the Solo Leveling anime is highly anticipated, the franchise is making its return to gaming this November with Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive — a title built for multiplayer and next-generation platforms.

A Global Reveal at TwitchCon San Diego 2025

From October 17 to 19, visitors at the San Diego Convention Center will be the first to experience the game’s playable version at booth #5125. Netmarble will showcase an exclusive demo, allowing fans to try out for the first time four-player co-op battles and new crafting mechanics.

The setup will feature multiple PC gaming stations for hands-on sessions, along with a themed photo zone to capture the moment. Visitors will also receive exclusive on-site giveaways, while a variety of activities will bring energy to all three days of the event.

Those unable to attend in person can still join the excitement via a live Twitch broadcast, where invited content creators will take the game for a spin and share their impressions in real time.

Multiplayer Gameplay Reimagined

Unlike Solo Leveling: Arise, which followed a gacha model designed for mobile players, Overdrive represents a strategic shift. This version fully leverages the power of next-generation gaming hardware and introduces major improvements:

Players will take on the role of Sung Jinwoo in his Monarch form, the main protagonist of the saga, and engage in dynamic boss battles designed to test their combat mastery.

Worldwide Release and Preorders Now Open

Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive is set for a global release on November 17, 2025, on Steam and Xbox PC. Players who purchase the Deluxe Edition will enjoy early access starting November 14. It’s worth noting that no announcement has yet been made regarding a PlayStation 5 version.

This TwitchCon showcase offers fans a rare opportunity to grasp the full scale of the project — one that could redefine how the Solo Leveling franchise translates to console experiences.

A Franchise on the Rise

Following the success of Solo Leveling: Arise and a notable collaboration with Fortnite, Arise Overdrive aims to deliver a true AAA multiplayer experience. But Netmarble isn’t stopping there — the Korean studio is also developing Solo Leveling: Karma, a new roguelike title featuring an entirely original storyline.

Just a week before its public reveal, Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive is already shaping up to be one of the biggest highlights of the year for action-RPG fans. By focusing on cooperative multiplayer and a presentation worthy of the finest next-gen titles, Netmarble seems determined to elevate the Solo Leveling franchise to a whole new level. Whether it lives up to that promise will be revealed at TwitchCon San Diego 2025 — but one thing’s certain: dungeon hunters aren’t done making headlines yet.
