Sony rolls out the red carpet for PlayStation Plus subscribers this June, with an impressive wave of games set to expand the Extra and Premium tiers. From Day One releases to cult classics and recent blockbusters, players will be spoiled for choice.

Alongside the Days of Play, Sony had already surprised Essential tier subscribers with four free games instead of the usual three. During the Summer Game Fest 2025, the Japanese giant doubled down by revealing more titles coming to the Premium catalog, including a Day One launch of Sword of the Sea, as well as classics like Twisted Metal 3, Twisted Metal 4, Resident Evil 2, and Resident Evil 3. But that was just the beginning: Sony has now unveiled eight more titles coming to the Extra tier, plus an added bonus for Premium members.

FBC Firebreak Launches Day One on PS Plus

The highlight of this update is undoubtedly the Day One launch of FBC Firebreak, the new and mysterious title from Remedy Entertainment, the studio behind Alan Wake and Control. This third-person action-adventure game immerses players in the world of the Federal Bureau of Control, offering a spin-off that dives deeper into Remedy’s unique mythology while delivering a fresh and original experience.

Exclusively available to Extra and Premium subscribers, FBC Firebreak will be playable from launch on June 17 on PS5. This exclusive deal highlights Sony’s commitment to boosting the appeal of its service with simultaneous releases and strong partnerships with top-tier studios.

Battlefield 2042 Joins the Lineup

Thrill-seekers are in for a treat with the arrival of Battlefield 2042. This multiplayer blockbuster from DICE joins the Extra and Premium catalogs, offering subscribers large-scale battles on dynamic, destructible maps — available on both PS4 and PS5.

Despite a rocky launch, the game has undergone numerous updates and improvements, fixing technical issues and rebalancing gameplay. 2025 is the perfect time to (re)experience Battlefield in a much more refined version.

A Diverse Selection for Extra Subscribers

The rest of the Game Catalog offers plenty of variety. From monster hunting and train simulation to narrative RPGs and psychedelic platformers, Extra subscribers will have more than enough to fill their backlog:

Deus Ex Returns for Premium Members

And finally, a treat for retro gaming enthusiasts. The legendary Deus Ex: The Conspiracy, originally released on PlayStation 2 in 2000, is making a comeback via the Classics Catalog and will be available through emulation on PS4 and PS5.

Widely regarded as one of the most influential games of its time, Deus Ex blends stealth, RPG mechanics, and dystopian cyberpunk storytelling. Its re-release in the Premium offering will give a new generation the chance to rediscover this video game milestone in its original form.
