A teaser that builds the hype

It all started with a short video posted simultaneously on the official X accounts of both games. It shows a character wearing V’s iconic jacket stepping out of an armored vehicle, before revealing the official crossover poster. A powerful image, full of promise and mystery.

The message is clear: “Welcome to Night City, Operators!” for Arena Breakout players, and “Welcome to Kamona, Chooms!” for longtime Cyberpunk 2077 fans. A double invitation to cross into each other’s worlds—and push the boundaries of both.

Season 2 kicks off with a bold collaboration

Arena Breakout: Infinite has just launched its second season, titled Crimson Edge. This new chapter introduces:

In short, this crossover couldn’t come at a better time to spice up an already action-packed experience.

While details remain scarce, the teaser hints at the arrival of Night City–inspired cosmetics in Arena Breakout. A soldier wearing V’s legendary Samurai jacket walking through the streets of the dystopian megacity leaves little room for doubt: Cyberpunk style is about to take over Kamona.

This move could elevate the extraction gameplay into a more stylish experience—while also drawing new players into the world of Arena Breakout: Infinite.

An announcement that surprises… and intrigues

Fan reactions on X (formerly Twitter) were quick to roll in. While some praised the bold move, many remained skeptical. Among the comments, you’ll find gems like: “Weirdest crossover of the year”, or “I’ve never even heard of Arena Breakout”—reflecting the general shock surrounding this unexpected partnership.

One user summed it up perfectly: “It’s one way to put your game on the map”. A sentiment echoed by many online, who see it as a clever strategic marketing play.

For now, no official release date has been announced. The exact details of this crossover remain shrouded in mystery. One thing’s for sure: all eyes are now on this unlikely collaboration—which might just breathe new life into two games that no one expected to ever meet.

Definitely one to keep an eye on…
